Hello, I'm Jordi This is my first guide to raids of Wrath of the Lich King, the legendary Blue Dragon Malagos infused with arcane.

Is Malygos the toughest boss in WOTLK?

Now like all the rage and wrath of the Lich King, you'll be able to tackle Malagos and the 10 and 25 man raids in this guide, however, for this guide and all of the guides we'll be doing for wrath will default to the 25 man variant, unless stated otherwise.

Concerning composition of rates, I'm going to show you an example of what the bounce rate may appear to be. But by no means is this the only way to go. Wrath is much more forgiving than TBC was about what you should bring. However, suffice to say that for Malygos, you need at least four healers, one or two tanks, and a mix of ranged and melee DPS. Keep in mind to have all your raid buffs secured.

It is important to remember that you're able to definitely have less healers as the game progresses and you acquire more equipment. I wouldn't be too surprised that you'll see with one or two healers later on, but for the first three kills, more healers can hurt. Now in phase one, Malik was landing on the platform, and you'll deal with several of his talents. The first is that he can cast arcane breath, so take him facing away from the raid. The attack isn't too severe. Keep an eye on the casting time and ensure that no one is close to the tank when the blast starts.
